Egger is the exclusive beer partner of the Vienna Restaurant Week

The Austrian, regionally rooted private brewery Egger is once again the exclusive beer partner of the Wiener Restaurantwoche, where 80 restaurants in Vienna and Lower Austria – some of which have been awarded several toques – offer culinary delights at a fixed price. For the first time, the private brewery Egger Genießern presents not only the highly endowed Egger Märzen[1] but also the Zwickl Egger Rosl, the cold-hopped Egger Hopf'n'Roll and the alcohol-free Egger Zisch. The goal of the beer brewers from Lower Austria: to inspire top gastronomy and connoisseurs alike with the variety of beer from Egger.

Unique to the Vienna Restaurant Weeks is the abundance of top restaurants that offer menus at a fixed price: The spectrum ranges from classic Austrian cuisine at award-toque level to international cuisine.

"Beer always fits"
Paul Appenzeller, Area Sales Manager for Vienna and Lower Austria at privatbrauerei Egger, on the cooperation: "Beer is increasingly establishing itself as a food companion in top gastronomy. Our harmonious beers are always the right choice." The participating gastronomic partners actively offer the appropriate beer style for the menu.

Beer variety from Egger
Märzen beers are the most popular beers of Austrian consumers[2] and one of the best comes from Egger: The classic is an all-rounder in food accompaniment - from aperitif to dessert.

The "Egger Rosl", on the other hand, is a lemon-yellow, slightly cloudy Zwickl beer that is very popular in gastronomy. It was bottled on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Rosa Egger – the mother of Fritz Egger, who brought the brewery to Lower Austria.

The Hopf'n'Roll is an own creation of the Egger brewmaster Johannes Meister: Thanks to four different aroma hops, a fruity, refreshing beer was created. Cold-hopped lager harmonises wonderfully with light, Asian cuisine due to its exotic taste.

For all those who prefer full taste without alcohol, Appenzeller recommends the "gold-plated"[3] Egger Zisch, which also has an isotonic effect and is very popular with drivers as well as athletes.
