In the PET to PET recycling plant in 2020, more than 28,000 tonnes of valuable PET material were produced to meet new requirements for new PET bottles. On average, the new bottles contain around 30% recycled material, depending on the type of container and size. In Austria, 75% of PET bottles are collected and recycled.
