- Biathlon star Lisa Hauser in the fast lane
- Excellent performance and excellent beer
The private brewery Egger congratulates “their” biathlete Lisa Hauser on the successful winter season that has just ended. With World Cup gold in the mass start in Pokljuka / Slovenia and the World Cup silver medals in the mixed relay as well as in the pursuit, the biathlete wrote sports history and looks back on the greatest successes of her career so far. In addition, she was able to record another victory and four "bronzes" in the World Cup this winter and with these outstanding performances she secured the "small crystal ball" in the individual World Cup ranking. The family-owned brewery with roots in Tyrol has been supporting the Kitzbüheler since 2016 as head sponsor and is proud of their achievements.
Lisa Hauser as perfect brand ambassador
The newly crowned world champion Lisa Hauser is the perfect brand ambassador for the company. Lisa Hauser and her team also know that sponsor support is relevant, especially in sports that have only recently received widespread attention. “You can only be successful together. I am very grateful to my sponsor Egger for the long and cooperative partnership, ”said the 27-year-old.
Athletes are actively addressed: testimonials ensure brand awareness
Addressing new target groups was and is the focus of Egger's sports sponsorship strategy: the biathletes Lisa Hauser and Dominik Landertinger - who will be supported by Egger in his role as co-commentator on TV even after his career at the end of 2020 - contribute to making the Egger beer brand even better known in sports circles and beyond.
Thirst quenchers with "added value"
The alcohol-free, isotonic product Egger Zisch is the ideal thirst quencher "with added value" for athletes. It was only awarded "Gold" in February at the traditional competition of the German Agricultural Society (DLG). This again confirms the high quality of the zeitgeist product by a neutral jury of experts and offers consumers an orientation aid in the extensive beer range. Thanks to an oxygen concentration similar to that in human blood, “Egger Zisch” is also particularly easy to digest. This added value makes the drink attractive to athletes as well as beer fans who would like to enjoy “without”. For athletes who like to refresh themselves with fruity mixed beer drinks, the private brewery Egger has a naturally cloudy shandy on offer.
"Golden pleasure" for every taste
A few weeks ago, at the same time as the Egger Zisch, the Egger Märzen and Egger Bock beers were also “gold-plated”. Only in the summer of the previous year was the bestseller Egger Märzen voted one of the best Märzen beers in the country by the renowned gourmet magazine Falstaff. In addition to the taste, Egger beer scores with its climate-neutral production, which is a decisive criterion for more and more consumers and trading partners.
Ex aequo with Italian Dorothea Wierer
Egger Märzen scored 92 points and landed tied with the winner in second place
